Anti-Graffiti Hoarding Protection

Real estate project signage with anti-graffiti coating.

Real estate developers commit significant resources to professionally designed, manufactured and installed construction hoarding and project signage. This signage serves multiple purposes as construction progresses and the important sales and marketing efforts begin for a new development.

Unfortunately, fresh signage at a construction site is often a “graffiti magnet” and within days significant damage can occur, leading to a costly and lengthy replacement process. In addition, graffiti hurts the selling message, potentially leads to a loss of sales – something difficult to measure but a very real risk in a competitive real estate market.

Removing graffiti can be challenging, sometimes causing irreparable damage that requires the signage to be removed, reprinted, and reinstalled. In addition, graffiti in less visible locations can be noticed by residents for extended periods of time without being detected by the developer.

PrismTech is pleased to offer a solution to these fundamental challenges to developers in the Greater Vancouver area.

Professional Graffiti Monitoring & Removal Services

Professional Removal

There is no “one-size-fits-all” removal solution for every type of graffiti. There are simply too many substances (spray paint, markers, stickers etc.) that behave differently due to their unique properties. Complicating things further is the variety of substrates that get vandalized, which may need to be handled differently from one material to the next.

That’s why we’ve connected with professional technicians that have extensive knowledge and training in graffiti removal – so it can be removed in the least damaging way.

Professional Monitoring

Removal is only half the battle, however. Knowing when and where there has been graffiti is the other half.

Thankfully, this is another service available from our stable of professional graffiti removal technicians. They will actively monitor your site for any graffiti.

A common monitoring package consists of a weekly drive-by site inspection. This also includes a call-in service where the site super could call any time if s/he notices anything, after which technicians would be dispatched to remove the reported graffiti.

Professional Protection

The best way to protect against damage caused by graffiti is to prepare for it before the fact.

To this end, we’re pleased to say a special anti-graffiti coating is available. We’ve had this clear-drying, environmentally friendly solution applied to common hoarding materials like banners and laminates.

It essentially creates an invisible skin or shield which protects the image underneath. Graffiti can then be removed without the use of chemicals or abrasives. Once graffiti is removed, this coating is simply reapplied to the affected area.

If you would like to safeguard your hoarding and project signage from graffiti, we have access to professional help that will protect your investment. Feel free to reach out to our team at Hemlock Display if you have any questions.
